Prayer Warrior: A Husband's First Duty

In today's society, men are duped and manipulated into believing that they don't need to man up. And above all, provide physical and spiritual protection for their wives; their children.

We are told, we should depend on the police or government authorities, to protect our families.

Some examples, we're warned not to buy a firearm, and that all guns are unnecessary. We're encouraged not to engage in violence (more certain, as boys) when someone threatens our person.

We are even advised, not to protect our homes, and to call the police if someone enters our home unauthorized.

This notion is of course, ludicrous and pure foolishness.

Anyone who has ever phoned the police, understands most times they mean well. But it may be several minutes, or even hours before an officer shows up.

And anyone who has ever called the police knows, their hands are tied, until a crime has already been committed.

Last but not least, we're told God is unreal or unnecessary. Which means as husbands, we're looked down upon; told we’re crazy, or considered foolish. In effect, for counting on God, and using his weapon of grace (prayer) to aid in protecting our loved ones.

So, in the meantime what’s a man, a husband, a father, supposed to do?

Wake Up!

WAKE UP! Is what we're supposed to do. "A Man Of Courage" does whatever’s necessary. In order, to ensure the safety, and welfare of his Beloved and children. No excuses!

We don't allow ourselves, to be conned into submission by aloofness and comfort. We must at all times, prepare ourselves for battle; to be warriors (whether spiritual or physical)

Believe it or not (for a man) there is such a thing as too much comfort; too much wealth; too much technology; too much convenience. Why? Because as men, we become soft; weak; too compromising in our ways and beliefs.

We stop acting as "Men Of Courage". We cease acting as warriors, fighters, and molders of our environment. We sit back, and allow women to lead, run, and manipulate our society through feelings and emotions.

In essence, we abandon Our Lord. We stop being real men, and become pseudo men. We forget our strength. We forget our masculinity. We forget, WE ARE MADE FOR COMBAT!

In fact to fight, and battle evil daily (within ourselves, as well as within our environment).

Don't be a fool; be a fighter. Get on your knees in front of the Blessed Sacrament daily (if you are Catholic). If you're protestant, get on your knees to Our Lord and pray for your marriage, pray for your wife, pray for your children.

Become a prayer warrior for your loved ones. Make evil come through you, before it infiltrates your family.

Every human being realizes (including criminals and more exact, Satan). Without a doubt, no matter how strong a woman is (whether mental or physical) the husband must be conquered in the initial battle.

This interval, is where the war is 75% won (don’t believe what you see in the Hollywood movies.) I’m speaking of reality.

Don't believe me? Can you say Genesis (Adam and Eve?) God Held Adam responsible for his family. Not his woman (Eve).

Understand you are a Christian Soldier! Prayer is your first weapon against evil (spiritual and physical). Prayer enhances the protection bubble, around your family.

For example, thieves are in your neighborhood. They're deciding, whom to attack first. Which home, which family? The power and grace of God (the Holy Spirit) encourages them to move past your home. For this reason, prayer must be your first duty; daily.

Not persuaded? That's fine. My job is to present the dangers and facts. In reality, plant a seed in you.

But what I will caution; look at your own marriage. How has evil penetrated your home? Your wife? Your children? And last, your environment (work, church, friends, neighborhood?) Ahh, now you are starting to get the picture.

Last, you are a warrior, a hero, a protector and defender. ACT LIKE IT!

Again, never allow yourself to settle; to take your Beloved for granted; to fall into aloofness.

You are a Christian Soldier. The Father, has instilled in you the instincts needed to fight. You are indeed; made for combat!
